Korean students ranked #1 in the world for being the most stressed over their education and ranked 26th out of 30 on school satisfaction.

1. [+4,417, -178] Being born in this country is a crime

2. [+3,577, -130] The responsibility of this goes to the seniors. They're the ones who made college the one and only course in life and anyone who works anywhere else like in the factories are considered failures. For a country with a huge manufacturing industry, we've resorted to bringing in foreigners because nobody wants to work those jobs.

3. [+3,351, -124] Please stop using studies as an excuse to ruin your kid's life. They're at a time where they should be the happiest.

4. [+2,871, -48] What sucks worse is that their futures are so unstable still

5. [+484, -16] It's the mothers who are crazy. I saw one complain that her 5th grader was "behind" when he was working on a 3rd year junior high school level work book. That's nuts. Studies only make up 10% of your success. I wonder if these parents worked as hard as their kids do when they were their age?

6. [+467, -5] What's the point of holding these studies every year when nothing changes

7. [+443, -4] It's society that's the problem. We make it seem like you're only worthy as a human being if you go to college. I personally think European education systems are better where everyone is considered elite and college isn't absolutely necessary.

8. [+442, -7] We need to cut off electricity from schools after 6 pm

9. [+392, -7] Korea's education system is hopeless. They take students and force them into staying in school from morning to night and only the top 10% survive and manage to make it out. The rest are thrown away to fend for themselves, but how can they when they've known nothing but studying all their lives and have no idea what to do now? That's why Korea is also the #1 in percentage of students who go on to college. Because kids don't know how to do anything but go to college, even if they don't know what they want to major in or do with their lives.

10. [+342, -7] The difficulty level is also insane... I was looking at a 2nd grader's math and Korean books and sighed.. I felt so bad for the kids... Whoever wrote these books are clearly out to kill these kids.
